I have lived in Edmonton, Alberta since 1983 and have worked for over 30 years in accounting and financial services. In 1991 I completed the courses and program required to become a Chartered Accountant, now Chartered Professional Accountant. In 1998, after working with a large national accounting firm, I started my own public accounting practice.
My goal then was and still remains to try combine the best aspects of a traditional accounting firm with a more modern approach. I strive to offer good service at reasonable rates and make the experience as simple and easy as possible for clients. I try to present information that can at times be complex or confusing in a complete, but understandable way and look for good tax planning opportunities.
Since 1998 I have provided a wide range of accounting, audit and tax services to individuals, small and medium size businesses and charitable and other not for profit organizations. I serve clients in throughout Alberta and elsewhere, as well as in the Edmonton area.
In addition to myself, I have a team of several experienced accounting technicians who have worked with me for a number of years. We serve a variety of sectors including: arts and culture organizations, contractors and construction, education and health care, investors and holding companies, professionals, religious and political organizations, residential or commercial rental and technology.

Edmonton is a great community and I appreciate having the opportunity to help local small businesses and other organizations succeed and thrive over the years. In addition to that I have enjoyed being involved with a number of not for profit organization as a volunteer, where I have also met great people and learned a lot.
In the past have served as Treasurer of the Alberta Entrepreneurs Association, Treasurer of the Central Edmonton Community Land Trust, Treasurer and President of the New Entrepreneurs Toastmasters Club. I also volunteered with the Business Link Guest Advisor program for a number of years to provide accounting and tax advise, primarily to individuals considering starting up new businesses. I am currently Treasurer with the North Saskatchewan River Valley Conservation Society.
I have been a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Alberta (formerly Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta) since 1992.
